Contacting Jerry Peek

I get flooded by junk email (spam) messages. I don't want your message to be lost in that flood! So I've set up a procedure to help you get through to me. Here's how:

  1. Address your message to jpeek@jpeek.com. (You can click on that address.)
  2. Use a descriptive message subject, one that tells me what your message is about. For instance, don't just use "question" or "hi" or a blank subject. Write "Your July magazine column" or "We met in Hanoi" or something to help me tell that your message isn't a broadcast message from a salesperson or a spammer.
  3. If you don't hear from me, or if you want to be even more sure that I get your message, put the following password somewhere in your message subject: (zebra) . Include the parentheses ( ) with that password. For example, your message to me could start this way:

       To: jpeek@jpeek.com
       Subject: Your Vietnam photos (zebra)

I'll change the password periodically. If we stay in touch, you don't need to use that password every time! I'll add your email address to my list of people I know.
  4. If your mail bounces back to you because of the poor spam filtering at my Internet provider, or if you don't get an answer, please try again -- from a different email account, if you can. I answer every message I get, so you should hear from me within a few days!

Thanks for your help.

Contacting Tourist Project Financiers

In many parts of the world there's a real need for tourist dollars. Pre-Inca ruins and temples along the central and north coast of Peru -- Túcume, for example -- are much less visited than the famous site of Machu Picchu. Specialist international project financiers and developers, such as Developers International, provide project finance to develop socially and environmentally responsible tourist attractions. You will find Developers International's contact form on their website. The project finance when invested wisely can contribute enormously to the local economy.
