MH is fundamentally different from other email systems. In these pages, I'll show what's different about MH -- the features and the drawbacks -- so you can decide if you might want to use it. I'll also give examples and links to more information.
Parts of MH are old, and it's showing its age. Still, no other email program that I know of has both the wide-open user interface and the easy-to-access message storage format that MH does.
Note that MH basically only runs on computers with Unix-like operating systems: Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, etc. A lot of the power of MH comes from the power and flexibility of Unix.
